myles started unplugged in 2021 with one panel van, a borrowed angle grinder, and the conviction that you shouldn't need a £90,000 motorhome to spend a quiet week in the hills. five years later he's still the one who fits every solar panel, wires every battery, and signs off every walk-round before a guest takes the keys. he's also the reason none of the vans have wifi.
charlie came on board in 2025 — the year the unplugged campers name actually got painted on the side of a van. she runs everything that isn't a wrench: bookings, emails, the route notes, the side of the operation that involves talking to humans. she's done routes in all four vans and has strong opinions about the gower at low tide.
every van started life as an empty panel van. we did the floors, the walls, the wiring, the cabinetry. it means we know exactly what's behind every screw — and we can fix it on a sunday afternoon if we need to.
